Srinivasan emphasized the importance of leveraging data, mathematical models, and AI for operational and commercial decisions, such as pricing, route selection, aircraft deployment, crew rostering, and engine maintenance scheduling. He acknowledged the potential of emerging technologies like GenAI but noted that extensive research and testing are necessary before deploying them in aviation-specific scenarios due to the high level of precision and stringent operating parameters required for safe and reliable operations.
Looking ahead, Akasa Air plans to continue utilizing advanced technologies to provide improved efficiency and passenger experience in the next six months to one year. The airline remains committed to safeguarding sensitive information and maintaining robust security protocols to ensure the confidentiality of travellers’ preferences and personal details.
